Kiccha Sudeep will now host Bigg Boss Kannada Season 12. At the end of Season 11, the Kannada celebrity, who has been the face of the well-known reality program since its inception, had bid adieu to it because the demands of his shooting schedule and hosting duties had put him under undue stress. However, Sudeep and the show's producers have reached an agreement, and he will be returning—not only for Season 12—but also on a four-year deal that will keep him on board through Season 15.

Kiccha Sudeep: I don't believe in filtering candidates

There were reports in the previous few days that Sudeep had a set of conditions for the showrunners, including about the choice of candidates, given that there were numerous problems inside and outside the house with several in the past few years. However, Sudeep clarified that he has no problem with the candidates and doesn't think that anybody should be eliminated.

He stated that his problem was more with the way the showrunners handled the Kannada version of the program at a higher level. Sudeep said that while he never had a problem with the channel (Colors Kannada) at the local level, he felt that it was receiving far less attention for Kannada than the other language versions of the show were, and he wanted this to be addressed.

The performer claimed that he met with the crew at least 10–12 times to smooth out any issues, and that the only requirement he ultimately had for them was about the start date. “They wanted it to start at a specific date, and I have asked them to move it ahead by three to four weeks, as I am dedicated to trying and making sure that I have a movie release in 2025. Billa Ranga Baashaa is still running, and another project will be revealed soon,” he stated.

The advertisement for Bigg Boss Kannada 12 has, however, been filmed, and it will dispel much of the conjecture that is now circulating around the program.
