Balakrishna is seen wearing traditional attire and a tilak on his forehead in a video taken during his birthday celebrations. He starts flipping the knife several times instead of slicing the cake, as the folks around him encourage him to do. At one point, as the knife approaches them, one of the persons beside him even leans backward. His bodyguard also appears to be unsure of what to do as he glances about.

Internet cracks jokes on Balayya

People online burst out laughing at Balakrishna's behavior, with several making jokes about him flipping knives. Others found the film amusing, while some attributed it to "over acting over attitude" or "weird behaviour." "The uncle next to him is repenting the decision to bring him a cake," one Instagram user said. He is trembling in case the knife falls on him, according to another agreement.

One person referred to him as the "God of Jokerness," and another cracked, "Security guard confused how to protect balayya from balayya." “Padmshree has never been insulted this badly before,” one Instagram user said. Balakrishna's off-screen behavior has gone popular on social media before. In the past, videos of the actor slapping fans, pushing co-stars aside, and responding to reporters in a funny manner have gone viral.
