After becoming the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Krish and Jyothi Krishna's Hari Hara Veera Mallu (HHVM) will be the first Pawan Kalyan picture to be released in theatres. Now that Bahujan organizations have voiced their opposition to the titular character, the movie, which will be released on July 24, has sparked a debate. The Mudiraj community claimed in a news conference that the filmmakers misrepresented the tale.

HHVM is opposed by Bahujan organizations

According to members of the Mudiraj community, HHVM misrepresents the tale of folk hero Panduga Sayanna, who is referred to as the Robinhood of Telangana. The community representatives stated at a news conference conducted at the Hyderabad Press Club that the main character in the movie is very similar to Sayanna but is portrayed through a 'fictional and misleading' storyline. The folk hero gained fame for redistributing wealth from feudal lords to the impoverished.

The protesters contend that the filmmakers have harmed the Bahujans' sense of self and feelings. The producers, Mega Surya Productions, were charged by the community leaders with distorting the truth by adding unrelated and commercially driven content. If their concerns are not addressed, they will also try to prevent the movie's release, they cautioned other Bahujan organizations as they urged them to join the protest. These issues have not yet been resolved by Team HHVM.

Future projects

Meanwhile, after becoming Deputy CM, Pawan Kalyan's debut movie is now playing in theaters. In the 2023 movie Bro, he was last seen with Sai Durgha Tej, his nephew. Pawan will portray Veera Mallu, a rogue who battles the Nizam administration in HHVM. In addition to a struggle for dominance over the Koh-i-Noor, the trailer suggests a confrontation with Aurangzeb himself. Bobby Deol and Nidhhi Agerwal are also featured.

In addition to They Call Him OG by Sujeeth and Ustaad Bhagat Singh by Harish Shankar, Pawan has a few more films scheduled. Prior to campaigning during the AP elections, he agreed to these initiatives, but he has not yet finished them.
