In 2024, it appeared that Yo Yo Honey Singh and Badshah had put aside their differences and called an end to their rivalry. But the conflict appears to have resumed. Badshah responded to an X user's message on Tuesday by making fun of Honey.

To highlight Honey's radical physical change, an X user posted images of him with the caption, "What did he eat?" Badshah responded with a single word: "Credits."

Badshah has made a public statement claiming authorship of Brown Rang's lyrics prior to Honey Singh's release of the song. He also mentioned that he contributed to the song Angrezi Beat.

Regarding the feud

To the uninitiated, Badshah and Honey Singh both got their start in the rap group Mafia Mundeer, which also included Ikka, Lil Golu, and Raftaar. The group released a number of well-known songs, including Delhi Ke Deewane, Begani Naar Buri, and Khol Botal. In 2012, the group gave its last performance. After a dispute and a public disagreement, the pair split up and began exchanging barbs on social media.

"There was a phase in my life when I held a grudge against one person, and now I want to call it quits and leave that behind – and that’s Honey Singh," Badshah said during a performance in Dehradun in 2024, expressing his desire to put an end to the decades-long animosity. There were far fewer individuals attempting to bring us together when we were together than there were who were trying to separate us, and I was upset by some misunderstanding. I simply want to inform everyone today that I've moved on and that I wish him the best.
