Recently, the musician and rapper Badshah answered a fan's question regarding his relationship with Dua Lipa. Nevertheless, some social media users criticized the artist for using the phrase "make babies" in reference to the international pop star. Badshah has now offered an explanation for his statement.

Dua Lipa's remark is defended by Badshah

Badshah defended his remark about Dua Lipa on Twitter (formerly Twitter) on Saturday. "One of the most beautiful compliments you can pay to a woman you truly admire is to wish for her to mother your children," he wrote. It's your interpretation that has come to light, not mine.

But his explanation didn't seem to persuade the internet community. "Since when did 'rather make babies' begin to translate into 'I want her to be the mother of my kids'?" one X user asked. "What kind of compliment is this?" asked another commenter. Another person said, "Poor cover-up, bro." "Bhai cover up toh theek se karliya karo (At least cover up properly brother)," said another remark.

What Badshah said

Badshah had posted "Dua Lipa" earlier on X. In response to this, a supporter questioned whether he intended to work with the pop artist. "I'd rather have kids with her, bro," Badshah answered. Many internet users labeled the singer's statement "disgusting" and criticized him for it. He was sometimes called the "Indian Kanye West."

In the meanwhile, Badshah and Kanika Kapoor, Sharvi Yadav, and IP Singh recently performed Gori Hai Kalaiyan for the movie Mere Husband Ki Biwi, which also stars Arjun Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar, and Rakul Preet Singh. As part of his The Unfinished Tour, he will be performing in the United States. The tour will start in Virginia on September 5, and after stops in New Jersey, the Bay Area, Seattle, and Dallas, it will come to an end in Chicago on September 20.
