One of the most anticipated movies of the year is War 2, which stars Jr NTR and Hrithik Roshan. The movie's teaser, which was released last month, has already caused a stir on social media. Ayan Mukerji, the film's director, has now shared his creative process, making sure that he can create a theatrical experience that will leave audiences breathless and full of excitement.

What Ayan said

"It is a tremendous responsibility to carry forward a massively loved franchise like War and leave your own mark on it," Ayan said in a news release. Directing War 2 was a great chance for me to pay homage to the original movie. Coming on board such a massive hit franchise, you can't have fun any other way. One must first accept what has been established and then create a trip for the movie's audience and the fans of these massive celebrities in our nation that is novel and, ideally, leaves them wanting more. I have to be truthful as a director; I was fully engrossed in conveying this emotion.

"We knew what to expect."

“Everything about War 2 has been crafted with a lot of planning to elevate the theatrical experience of the audience,” he adds. The majority of the time was spent writing the plot and the conflict necessary to establish the confrontation between Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR, as well as on the action set pieces.

With these two massive actors joining forces, "War 2 is truly the coming together of Indian cinema," the director asserts. We were conscious of the expectations this combination would raise in the thoughts of their fans and the audience, and every second was spent trying to figure out how to provide them with a once-in-a-lifetime experience when they sit in the theaters.

War 2, starring Kiara Advani, is scheduled for a theatrical release on August 14.
