Archana Puran Singh Falls Victim to Online Scam During Dubai Vacation: “We Lost Our Money”
4 months ago | 5 Views
Archana Puran Singh, an actress, routinely posts daily vlogs on her YouTube channel for her family. Her most recent video features her trip to Dubai with her husband, the actor and filmmaker Parmeet Sethi, as well as her children Aaryamann and Ayushmaan Sethi. During their vacation to Dubai, they also fell victim to an online ticket scam when they purchased tickets for an indoor skydiving experience, she added.
Archana describes the scam's events
Archana was seen in the video with her family as they anticipated experiencing an indoor skydiving trip through iFly Dubai. However, they were startled to discover that they had not made any reservations in their name when they arrived. "This lady is saying we have no booking, but we had booked three slots in iFly Dubai," Archana said. The website through which we paid is not theirs, thus we have been duped. In Dubai, we were duped. The tickets aren't cheap, and we've already paid for them. In Dubai, we lost our money. Given the strict rules and regulations in Dubai, I never anticipated this. People are afraid to do that kind of stuff.
What Parmeet's response was
"I am shocked... Thousands of rupees are (gone)... Pata chale yahi scam hai (What if it turns out that this is also a scam)," Parmeet added at the same time. Aryaman said in the video's following segment that he had some reservations about the ticket purchase since the website initially stated that the trip would last four minutes, but when he was redirected to another page, the time was reduced to two minutes. However, he did not bother to double-check since he believed the fraud was unlikely to occur on the primary website.
Last seen in Nadaaniyan as Mrs. Braganza Malhotra, Archana has been working in the industry. Additionally, she is a regular guest on The Great Indian Kapil Show.
