Following the India's Got Latent controversy, Apoorva Mukhija, sometimes known as The Rebel Kid, a YouTuber-turned-actor, has said that she was forced to leave her Mumbai residence. Following a police visit to her to summon her, she claimed that tenants of the building filed a complaint with the administration.

Apoorva discloses

In the most recent episode of The Bombay Journey, which is available on YouTube, Apoorva made the confession during a discussion. The host inquired if the controversy had compelled her to move inside Mumbai during the automobile ride.

"Arrey yaar, because the cops came to my house to put up a notice and to summon me, the building management complained that ‘cops are coming to this building, it’s wrong, that’s why we don’t allow bachelors, that’s why we don’t rent out to single women’", Apoorva said in Hindi.

"I single-handedly managed to get feminism out of that structure somehow. because the cops came to my house. As a result, the landlord instructed me to go. I lived in that home for just one year." She also said in the video that she was successful in getting her security deposit back after moving out of her last residence.

She had given a hint that she was leaving her Mumbai apartment in April when she uploaded a brief video to her Instagram Stories indicating that she had moved out. She was seen turning off the lights of a previously empty living room in the video. She simply captioned it, "End of an era."

India's Got Latent row About Apoorva

In January of this year, Apoorva was one of the comedians who appeared in the contentious episode of India's Got Latent. She was a member of the group where YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia made his contentious statements on parents and sex. Although he received harsh criticism, a video of Apoorva also provoked unfavorable responses from social media users. All of the episodes of the well-liked YouTube program were later removed by its creator, comedian Samay Raina. For their remarks on the show, Samay, Ranveer, Apoorva, and others connected to the program were subject to several FIRs.

Apoorva quit social media after the commotion. However, she is now regularly posting content on the medium again. She is also accelerating her career in the wake of the setback. Apoorva is presently perceived as a contestant in the Indian version of the reality TV show The Traitors, which is hosted by Karan Johar.
