Anurag Basu's Life in a... Metro is a spiritual successor to Metro... In Dino. Today, June 4, the movie's trailer was released, and at the trailer launch, Basu disclosed that the entire Metro... Dino pays homage to the late actor Irrfan Khan and the late singer KK.

As we all know, Irrfan Khan played a significant role in Life in a Metro, and the late singer KK sang some of the most beautiful songs. Naturally, these two musicians are not mentioned in Metro... Dino. In response, at the trailer launch, Anurag Basu stated that the entire film is dedicated to them.

"The entire movie pays homage to Irrfan and KK," he stated. Therefore, we all miss them. I was telling Bhushan Kumar that KK's style of performance greatly complements Pritam's music. The music is fantastic, yes. I mean, KK sang in all of my movies, not just my Metro films. Therefore, it goes without saying that we miss him and I miss him.
