Kirron Kher's son, Sikander, from her previous marriage, also became a part of Anupam Kher's life when the Bollywood star got married in 1985. But the actor lately admitted that he misses seeing a child develop. Anupam shared with Raj Shamani in a recent interview the reason why Kirron and he never had kids of their own.
The sense of emptiness from not having his own child is something that Anupam Kher experiences
Anupam said he hadn't experienced the sensation of not seeing a child develop in front of him until he reached his 60s, adding, "I do a lot of work with children. My foundation does a lot of work. I like kids. Anupam Uncle used to be the subject of a kid's program I hosted called Say Na Something. Therefore, I responded affirmatively to the question, "Do you feel this?," and it was the truth.
The reason Anupam Kher never had children of his own is explained here
"It didn't happen initially. Kirron couldn't conceive, and when she did, the pregnancy wasn't developing properly," he continued, explaining why they never had children together. I was too preoccupied with becoming a star. I was too preoccupied, and Sikander is still plenty for me. I never felt like anything was lacking since he entered my life at the age of four, when I wed Kirron. There is no way to know for sure if I felt anything back then just because I feel it now.
Long before their 1985 wedding, Kirron and Anupam had a strong bond. Kirron was going through a difficult marriage with her then-husband Gautam Berry at the time, while Anupam was dealing with a divorce. They got married and started a new chapter together after their relationship slowly developed into love.
In the meantime, Anupam is getting ready for the July 18 theatrical premiere of his next movie, Tanvi The Great, which also features prominent performances by Shubhangi Dutt, Boman Irani, Jackie Shroff, and Pallavi Joshi.
