During the first years of his career in the 1980s, when he aspired to be an actor, Anupam Kher has discussed how others responded. Anupam told Free Press Journal that he was "going bald from everywhere" and that others would doubt his goal of being an actor.

During his baldness, Anupam Kher wished to be an actor

In 1981, when I joined the film industry, I was bald. Some individuals would tell me to "become an assistant or a writer," said Anupam Kher. What you see now is that I have a shaved appearance. The bald look is quite classy and appealing. However, I was losing hair all over when I arrived in the early 1980s with the goal of becoming an actor. People recommended that I be a writer or an assistant, but it was something else, he claimed.

It was requested that Anupam wear a wig

When I informed them that I had won a gold medal at the National School of Drama, my first secretary, Ashok Punjabi, questioned me if I had ever seen a hero without hair. They replied, "But you don't have hair, so how can you become an actor?" I wanted to argue it out. My first secretary, Ashok Punjabi, kept urging me to wear a wig. He would respond with "Have you ever seen a hero without hair?" whenever I inquired as to the cause. I used to say that it's going to be me, Anupam said.

In addition, he emphasized that a person's work should speak for itself as "the only thing that matters."

Regarding Anupam's forthcoming movie

Anupam is now prepared for the debut of his forthcoming film, Tanvi The Great, which he directed. He held a unique screening of the picture in New Delhi, with Indian Army chief General Upendra Dwivedi and other high-ranking officers in attendance. The proudest moment of my life: Last night in Delhi, we had the honor and the privilege of screening #TanviTheGreat for the Indian #ArmyChief Gen. Upendra Dwivedi, First Lady Sunita Ji, senior army officers, and their families," Anupam wrote in an Instagram video.

"The finest recompense of my life were their cheers, standing ovations, contagious smiles, and little tears. The best homage to #TanviTheGreat was the army commander's address and recommendation that all army members see our film. Thank you, sir, for the respect, love, and appreciation you showed me and the whole crew. One of the greatest highlights of my life and career was certainly last night! he said.

Debut performer Shubhangi, British actor Iain Glen, Anupam, Pallavi Joshi, Boman Irani, Jackie Shroff, Arvind Swami, and Karan Tacker are among the cast of the film. It is scheduled for a global cinema release on July 18.
