Veteran actor Anupam Kher promoted the much-anticipated film anthology Metro In Dino. During the promotion, he shared his thoughts on love, highlighting how it stays the same yet keeps changing over time. Love is a deeply personal feeling, he said, and he doesn’t think we should judge how others fall in love. When asked if falling in love is easier or harder for today’s Gen Z, Anupam replied, “I don’t think we should judge anyone. Love is very personal. If you ask me if I could fall in love the way kids do today, probably not. I might be old-fashioned, but I believe in the whole process. Over the years, I have fallen for different people, but the way I feel has stayed the same.”

He also mentioned a common myth about love’s true nature. “People tend to see love from only one side,” he explained. Love isn’t only about romance, he pointed out. It includes friendships too. “I have a best friend, and we’ve argued a lot. Still, we start over each time, and that’s love too.”

Metro In Dino is directed by Anurag Basu and produced by T-Series Films and Anurag Basu Productions. It’s a spiritual follow-up to Basu’s 2007 film, Life in a... Metro. The movie features four small stories about modern couples facing the ups and downs of today’s relationships. The cast includes Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Ali Fazal, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Konkona Sen Sharma, Pankaj Tripathi, Neena Gupta, and Anupam Kher himself.

Get ready to see different sides of love when Metro In Dino hits theaters on July 4, 2025.
