Anshula Kapoor Breaks Silence on 'The Traitors' Being Scripted—Here’s Her Response to Fans

Viewers have rapidly taken notice of The Traitors, a new reality program that is streaming on Prime Video. Anshula Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor's sister and one of the contestants, recently responded to a flurry of direct messages inquiring whether the program was scripted. The content producer said this.
Is The Traitors a scripted show?
Anshula posted a funny video on her Instagram on Tuesday, answering the question of whether the Karan Johar-hosted program is scripted. Anshula stated in her video, "Is The Traitors scripted? How can this be the number one DM in my DMs right now? Traitors is not scripted." None of the 20 show participants received even 1% of a script. Let's begin with all the events that led us to shoot the first episode. So much secrecy existed.
"We didn't know who our fellow candidates would be. I believe Elnaz, Ashish ji, Sufi, and Jannat were on my flight when we were also flying from Bombay to film this. We were assigned different slots to ensure that it remained as confidential as possible, even during the airport check-in procedure. "Our own personal valet gave us a shadow," she continued.
Additionally, Anshula claims that the creators split the 20 contestants into two separate groups, each of whom was staying in a different hotel. “Then, at this hotel, as we were checking in, they were literally like, ‘You will have your phone for like three hours, and then tonight somebody’s going to come,’” They were all transported from Jodhpur to Jaisalmer two days before the shoot. They stole all the electronic devices, not just the phones. It was completely about isolation since they didn't want us to establish friendships outside of the performance.
Regarding The Traitors
Anshula went on to explain that even if each episode of The Traitors lasts just an hour, the contestants are really filming for 16 to 18 hours straight every day. Co-produced by All3Media International and BBC Studios India, the program is the Indian version of the widely acclaimed reality series.
20 famous people are featured, including Maheep and Anshula Kapoor, Raftaar, Apoorva Mukhija, Sufi Motiwala, Elnaaz, Purav Jha, Ashish Vidyarthi, Jasmine Bhasin, Jannat Zubair, Uorfi Javed, Sahil Salathia, Karan Kundrra, Raj Kundra, and Lakshmi Manchu, who have already been eliminated.
New episodes of the program premiere every Thursday at 8 PM on Prime Video.
