50-year-old Angelina Jolie made a splash at the 78th Cannes Film Festival for the premiere of her film Eddington. The actor has now chosen to put self-care first and have undergone intensive laser therapy, according to a story in InTouch Weekly.

"Angelina has always been religious about protecting her skin from the sun — that has definitely helped her stay youthful-looking — but of course, she's had some help from her dermatologist too," an insider informed the publication. She decided to genuinely prioritize self-care this last year since she wanted to look her very best throughout the coming ten years.

According to the source, Angelina has lately had "a couple of serious laser treatments to really smooth out her overall texture and tighten things up." The outcomes have been great. She is also said to be quite cautious about using Botox, which she has been doing for years, in order to avoid having a frozen face.

Along with cosmetic procedures, Angelina is prioritizing a nutritious diet. The insider claims that she makes sure her meals have a healthy mix of proteins, fruits, and veggies. She has reportedly had problems with nutrition in the past, frequently losing her appetite during stressful situations, but in recent years she has made a deliberate effort to adopt a more balanced approach. The source asserts that the findings are clear, stating that she appears to be in better health than she has been in a while.

In Pablo Larraín's film Maria, Angelina made her last appearance. As she thought about her past, she played opera singer Maria Callas and depicted the last seven days of her life in Paris in 1977. In addition, the film included supporting roles for Pierfrancesco Favino, Alba Rohrwacher, Haluk Bilginer, Stephen Ashfield, Valeria Golino, and Kodi Smit-McPhee.

Next up for her is the French drama Couture, written and directed by Alice Winocour. In addition to Louis Garrel, Ella Rumpf, and Garance Marillier, the movie will also have its world premiere in the Special Presentations category of the 2025 Toronto International Film Festival in September 2025.
