Amruta Subhash, the actress who played a role in Gully Boy, has discussed the experience of filming a scene with Ranveer Singh and explained why it was "one of the scariest days of my life." Amruta described the scene in which she and Ranveer were sitting in the back of a tempo in an interview with Bollywood Bubble.

Amruta Subhash discusses how she felt terrified during the production of Gully Boy.

With enough bouncers around, Amruta described how the Gully Boy scenario was filmed in Mumbai's Dharavi. The car, she told us, was not in good shape. The actress claimed that it was the first time she and Ranveer filmed outside the studio. "Jaese humari tempo Dharavi k beech mein gayi, toh saari buildings se log utarne lage niche (As soon as our tempo went to the centre of Dharavi, people started getting out of the buildings)," she said. They then began to follow this beat. The pace was not quick. The crowd began to flee. I began to shake.

Amruta was 'pacified' by Ranveer Singh

I started to tremble as Ranveer Singh reassured me that everything would be fine, especially when the mob started chasing me and I knew the car wouldn't be moving quickly. Superstar sitting, Padmaavat aayi hai (Padmaavat had released, superstar is sitting)... Ranveer realized this, took my hand, and asked, "Amruta, are you ok? My bouncers are around." Don't be concerned. Nothing will transpire." He was calming me down. The mob's energy is unpredictable, not always joyful, and extremely frightening. There is also veheshiyat in it (There is a savagery in it).
