Rumors regarding Amitabh Bachchan, the well-known Bollywood actor who has served as the quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati's recognizable face for many years, quitting his role as presenter have been put to rest. In the midst of rumors that Salman Khan would take his place, Big B took to social media to share photos from the sets, confirming that he has officially started filming for the next season of the program.

Big B posted images on his blog on Wednesday showing him sitting on the chair, chatting to someone, and with a computer in front of him. The performer was spotted wearing his white hat, glasses, and multicolored jacket. In the captions of the images he shared, he said, "Shuru kar diya kaam (started the work)... and the prep begins the beguine .. to be back to the people .. to be with them in their desires to improve life and livings .. the opportunity that changes lives .. in an hour ..my love and regard."

The rumors that Salman Khan would take his place are dispelled by Amitabh Bachchan

Bollywood Hungama stated in May that Amitabh will be leaving his position as the host of KBC and Salman will be taking over. "Salman Khan is the king of the small screen, and the best face to replace Amitabh Bachchan is him, as he also has a strong connect with the audience in the smaller centers," a source informed the magazine. Shah Rukh Khan has also hosted KBC in the past, and Salman will be the most recent person to captivate TV viewers if all goes according to plan. Citing "personal reasons," the source also stated that Big B is quitting as the show's presenter.

February of this year marked the conclusion of KBC's sixteenth season. The producers, however, revealed in April that registration for the 17th season will begin on April 14. Auditions, selecting candidates, and getting their video portfolios ready will follow this. The new season will probably start in August.
