In a conversation with Mirchi Plus, music composer Amaal Mallik, who has written music for movies like Jai Ho, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, Kabir Singh, and others, discussed the negative aspects of Bollywood. He said that following the death of Sushant Singh Rajput, Bollywood is attempting to demoralize Kartik Aaryan.

The passing of Sushant Singh Rajput is discussed by Amaal Mallik

Discussing the more gloomy aspect of Bollywood and Sushant's passing, Amaal said, "Today, the shine of Bollywood is missing somewhere. The public now knows the truth about this location. Even from a psychological standpoint, there is now a disconnect as people feel alienated from their stars and ponder the nature of the world they live in. People have lost their lives as a result of the industry's negative side. Whatever happened to Sushant Singh Rajput—some say he was murdered, while others say he committed suicide—the fact is that he was unable to cope with it, and a life was taken. The industry has done something to him—whether it be to his intellect, his spirit, or the way he feels about himself and others.

He described how this resulted in a significant gap between the audience and the industry. Amaal remembered that even his non-filmi pals started calling Bollywood a harmful environment. Additionally, he said that after Sushant's passing, the sector deserved the collapse it experienced.

Kartik Aaryan is experiencing the same issues as Sushant Singh Rajput, according to Amaal Mallik

"And nowadays, you can see that individuals are trying the same things with Kartik Aaryan, either directly or indirectly," he continued. He has also overcome similar challenges—dancing his way through them—but he has the love and direction of his parents. He is also a newbie who entered, performed his role, and is now engaged in power games with a hundred people waiting to oust him. It's practiced by everyone from major manufacturers to well-known performers. People no longer believe in the allure of cinema, which was once so enticing to them due to the aura of Rajesh Khanna, Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, and Salman Khan. People began to believe that these were terrible people after Sushant Singh Rajput.

He continued, saying that viewers are reluctant to see a star kid in a compelling narrative or a relatable tale nowadays. In addition to praising the conviction of South Indian cinema, Amaal said that Bollywood can only rebound by producing something as visionary as Christopher Nolan's Inception, producing lighthearted comedies, or writing heartfelt romances like Aashiqui. Those, in his opinion, are the only ways Hindi film can win back its viewers.

Sushant Singh Rajput passed away at age 34 on June 14, 2020, as a reminder to the uninformed. He was discovered hanging in his Bandra flat. Rhea Chakraborty, his then-girlfriend, was later charged by his father with aiding and abetting his suicide. The CBI took over the investigation and just released a closure report, exonerating Rhea.

In the meantime, Kartik Aaryan, who made his debut with Pyaar Ka Punchnama, won over fans with his famous diatribe about relationships. He then appeared in successful films such as Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, Satyaprem Ki Katha, and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. He currently has a devoted following, and this Diwali, he will star in Anurag Basu's upcoming musical, which is still unnamed, alongside Sreeleela.
