The Pushpa 2 stampede incident

During the premiere of Pushpa 2: The Rule at Sandhya Theatre in RTC X Roads, Hyderabad, a stampede occurred on December 4, 2024, resulting in a woman's death and the hospitalization of her young son in critical condition. Arjun and his family were present in the theatre when the incident occurred. He, the theatre management, and his security were all sued.

The High Court granted the actor interim bail a few hours after his arrest on December 13. However, he was released from jail only after spending the night there. Since then, the actor has said sorry and paid for the injured boy's medical treatment. Arjun was criticized by the Telangana administration, which included CM Revanth, as well as the police, who alleged that he entered the theater without permission first.
