For those who are unaware, Paresh previously declared on X (formerly Twitter) that he had chosen to withdraw from Hera Pheri 3, but he refuted any claims of creative disagreements with director Priyadarshan. Paresh gave the explanation for his abrupt departure in a subsequent interview with Mid-day, saying, "I love Priyadarshan and have great respect and faith in him as a director." We've made amazing films together in the past, and we'll keep doing it. There aren't any creative differences, and it's impossible to have any with him. The love and respect of my audience are worth more than any sum of money. I simply think it's a position I don't want to hold right now.

After that, Akshay is said to have sent the actor a legal notice demanding ₹25 crore in damages. "I think there will be severe legal consequences. It has, of course, harmed the business. We informed him in our letter that there are several legal ramifications. In a statement to PTI, Pooja Tidke, Joint Managing Partner of Parinam Law Associates, which represents Kumar's production banner, stated, "There have been expenses incurred towards the cast, the crew, senior actors, logistics, equipment, and the shooting of the trailer."

Paresh posted a situation update on Twitter on Sunday, May 25, saying, "My lawyer, Ameet Naik, has sent an appropriate response regarding my rightful termination and exit." "All problems will be resolved as soon as they see my answer."

Paresh's choice deeply saddened fans, who were anxiously anticipating Hera Pheri 3 and the return of the legendary trio of Paresh, Akshay, and Suniel to the cinema. Some people even thought the movie should be put away because it couldn't possibly be the same without his famous character, Baburao Ganpatrao Apte. It remains to be seen if the actor will change his mind as fans keep to inundate social media with pleas for Paresh to rethink.
