Do you love Hollywood superheroes like Superman, Batman, Spider-Man, and Iron Man? Akshay Kumar, an actor, believes that Indian mythology is the source of all superhero tales and their abilities.
Akshay thinks
In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Akshay discussed how Indian mythology has influenced Hollywood. When questioned about whether all of the stories in the nation were being given a platform or means of being shared, he expressed his opinion.
After that, Akshay stated that the nation is full of diverse narratives. "There are so many stories here, and I personally think that Hollywood borrows a lot from our stories," Akshay stated. Their superheroes and abilities are all modeled after our mythology. The stories we have are amazing; for example, prior to watching the film, I was unaware of the narrative surrounding Kannappa.
In response to this, Vishnu stated that he believes that Star Wars was also influenced by the Mahabharata. He also said that Satyajit Ray's screenplay served as the basis for ET. When Steven Spielberg's ET was released in 1982, it was initially believed that he had copied Satyajit Ray's The Alien, which is what it seemed he was alluding to.
The movie's plot
Following his appearance with Vishnu in Kannappa, Akshay will next be seen in the film. The legendary drama film Kannappa is based on the story of Bhakta Kannappa, a devout devotee of Lord Shiva. The lead role will be played by Vishnu Manchu, while Mohanlal and Prabhas will have key roles. Kajal Aggarwal will play Goddess Parvati, while Akshay Kumar will play Lord Shiva. The movie, which was shown at the Cannes Film Festival in 2024, was directed by M. Mohan Babu. Its release date is June 27, two days before Brad Pitt's F1, which will be available on the market.
