Last week in Hyderabad, in a small, intimate ceremony, actor Akhil Akkineni wed Zainab Ravdjee, an artist and businesswoman. His parents, the actor couple Nagarjuna and Amala Akkineni, shared images of their wedding on social media and offered their blessing to the pair. With this instance from Nagarjuna and Amala's wedding, enthusiasts couldn't help but note parallels in a specific photo of Akhil and Zainab.

Akhil is seen holding Zainab's hands as he takes the pheras in a lovely moment during the wedding. Zainab blushes while the actor stares at the camera. During the pheras, fans discovered ancient images from Nagarjuna and Amala's wedding that were taken at a similar moment.

The images depict both couples holding hands and sporting floral garlands while clad in ivory. Additionally, Zainab and Akhil dress in a kurta and saree, respectively, which are comparable to those worn by Nagarjuna and Amala. The two images were shared on X (previously Twitter) by a supporter who said, "#KingNagarjunaAmala #AkhilZainab Same pattern…" Other fans concurred.

Another similarity found in father and son

Another pattern that was repeated between father and son was mentioned by a fan who said, "Second pelli kuda same pattern (He also followed the pattern of second wedding)." Although it isn't actually accurate that this is Akhil's second wedding, it is his second engagement. Akhil got engaged to Shriya Bhupal, the granddaughter of the commercial magnate GV Krishna Reddy, in 2016. The cause of their 2017 wedding cancellation was not made public.

In 1984, Nagarjuna wed Lakshmi Daggubati, the late producer D Ramanaidu's daughter and the sister of actor Venkatesh. They had a son, Naga Chaitanya, in 1986. But in 1990, the pair split up. Nagarjuna wed Amala in 1992, and their son Akhil was born in 1994. Chaitanya has also been married twice, which is intriguing. He married Sobhita Dhulipala after his divorce from Samantha Ruth Prabhu.

In November of last year, Akhil proposed to Zainab, and they wed on June 6 of this year.
