At the GT4 European Series competition in Italy, actor and driver Ajith Kumar wrecked his automobile but walked away unscathed. The event occurred during the series' second round, which was held at the Misano circuit. But the Tamil celebrity won respect from the audience by staying at the scene of the accident to help clear debris off the track, something that is uncommon among drivers.

The aftermath of Ajith's car accident was shown in a video that was uploaded on the official GT4 European Series X (previously Twitter) account. He had crashed into a parked vehicle on the track, but he was unharmed. "Out of the race with damage, but still happy to help with the clean-up. Full respect, Ajith Kumar," they wrote while posting the video. From the debris, Ajith is seen standing close to his car and looking about.

One of the commentators says, "There's Ajith Kumar out of the car, out of the race, and that's really the first significant bit of damage we've seen from him this year." Ajith starts clearing the debris from the racetrack right away, even as his rivals are still competing. “Because he's a great guy, he goes and helps the marshals clean up all the bodywork. The commentator continues, saying that very few drivers would behave in this way.

Recent work

Ajith participated in the Formula BMW Asia competition in 2003 and the Formula 2 Championship in 2010. He took a break and came back this year with the 24H Series. In the Porsche 992 GT3 Cup Category of the 24H Series, he made his debut with the freshly created Ajith Kumar Racing team.

The actor has not yet revealed any forthcoming projects since he intends to commit to movies until the racing season is done. For his contributions to film, he was just given the Padma Bhushan. This year, Ajith was last seen in Magizh Thirumeni's Vidaamuyarchi and Adhik Ravichandran's Good Bad Ugly.
