Controversy is once again circling around actor and former Bigg Boss contestant Ajaz Khan, as an FIR (First Information Report) has been lodged against him by the Indore Crime Branch. The charges stem from the alleged circulation of "fake news and objectionable content" via his social media handles, marking another serious legal hurdle for the actor concerning his online activities.

This latest development highlights the intensified scrutiny law enforcement is placing on digital speech, particularly content that risks inciting public disorder or spreading misinformation.

Confirming the action, Rajesh Dandotiya, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (ADCP), Indore Crime Branch, stated that the FIR was filed following reports that a video containing "highly objectionable content" was being widely distributed through the actor's social media platforms.

The ADCP further clarified that the case involves more than just the actor’s actions; it is part of a broader crackdown on digital misinformation. The authorities revealed that the investigation relates to an incident two months prior, where a surge of fake news and inappropriate material was circulating. In response to that incident, the Crime Branch had already blocked thirty-two accounts and filed complaints against sixty-eight others.

Ajaz Khan, having been served a notice, was summoned to the station to record his statement, where he underwent three hours of questioning. His mobile phone has also been seized as part of the ongoing investigation, signaling the serious nature of the police action. Legal proceedings are currently underway in accordance with the recorded statement and evidence.
