Ajay Devgn and Mrunal Thakur are currently hard at work promoting their next movie, Son of Sardaar 2. The pair talked about their experience making the movie on Archana Puran Singh's YouTube channel, bringing up Deepak Dobriyal, who plays Gul, a transgender woman, in the film. While donning a female costume, Deepak had to contend with the bathroom situation, which Ajay made fun of.

Ajay complimented Deepak on doing his part in the picture, emphasizing that the fact that his character is transgender is not mocked in the film. Deepak Dobriyal has done a great job in his role, he remarked. We haven't made fun of his personality; as a matter of fact, he has an emotional arc. During lunch, he maintained his persona, and in Scotland, he even went out to supper with us while he was still in character.

"We had issues when he needed to use the washroom and was dressed as a lady," Ajay said, expanding on Mrunal's remark that Deepak had problems anytime he had to go to the restroom while in character. A woman appeared out of nowhere and warned him that he was entering the wrong restroom while I was escorting him to the gents' washroom one day. I had to save him from her by informing her that he was a guy, as she pulled him into the women's restroom.

According to Ajay, Deepak appeared to be so convincing as a woman that a man kept staring and smiling at him when he entered the men's restroom. A guy standing seven feet tall gave him so many looks, even on set, that he began to feel concerned.
