On Archana Puran Singh's YouTube channel, actors Ajay Devgn and Mrunal Thakur promoted their forthcoming comedy movie Son of Sardaar 2. Ajay offered his perspective on why he believes newcomers from outside the film industry are "misguided" when the discussion shifted to Veeru Devgan, his father, who is a stunt choreographer, and how he learned about the business from him.

Archana was joined by her husband, actor Parmeet Singh, and sons Ayushmann and Aaryamann for her conversation with Ajay and Mrunal. The actor responded, "Everything I've learned technically and about the industry is because of him," when questioned about whether his father Veeru, who was an action choreographer, had taught him anything about the film industry. He taught me the value of hard work, the kind of commitment he possessed, and the honesty he displayed.

Following this, Archana said that she thinks this is why the film industry prefers to hire people from film families, adding, "You know, this is one of the reasons that the film industry prefers people to come in from film families because they already learn professional ethics from their parents." Ajay agreed and said, "You get to learn a lot."

Then he talked about how people entering the film industry from the outside are often "misguided" about how things operate. "I am not talking about everybody because there are sensible people, but a lot of times, they come in not knowing if they want to be an actor or a star. To be a star on day one, you must first be an actor. Thus, individuals from non-film families are misinformed about the industry, indicating a misunderstanding somewhere. In the end, I believe it's all about your hard work.

Regarding Son of Sardaar 2

Ajay Devgn, Jyoti Deshpande, N R Pachisia, and Pravin Talreja co-produced Son of Sardaar 2, which was directed by Vijay Kumar Arora. The 2012 movie Son of Sardaar serves as its spiritual follow-up. The film is scheduled for release in theaters on August 1.
