The audience has responded favorably to Mohit Suri's Saiyaara, which stars Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda. The movie has received accolades from a number of Bollywood celebrities on their social media profiles as well. Additionally, on her Instagram Stories, actor Shraddha Kapoor expressed her heartfelt response to the movie. Shraddha's kind comments have finally received a response from Ahaan, who has also thanked her.

Shradhha's mentorship comes to mind for Ahaan

Ahaan shared Shradhha's mention in his Instagram Stories on Tuesday. The caption of the image read, "The serendipity of assisting on a rock music film, to getting to be a part of one... I remember you taking the time to speak to me for a few seconds, and your words weighing heavy on me. I was assigned to repair your piano while I was working under you on Rock On 2."

"You made me feel seen at a time when very few did, in such a brief conversation and that's why you're magic, maybe a little glimmer of that magic spilled onto me and that's why the universe allowed me to have this moment," he said.

On Rock On 2, which starred Shraddha alongside Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Rampal, and Shahana Goswami, Ahaan served as an assistant director. Shujaat Saudagar directed the movie, which came out in 2016.

Earlier in Saiyara, Shraddha posted a video of herself applauding and cheering as she watched Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda on the big screen. She said, "Mujhe Saiyaara se Aashiqui ho gayi hai (I've fallen in love with Saiyaara)." Shraddha mentioned Aashiqui 2, her 2013 release, which was also helmed by Mohit Suri. Because of the comparable themes of young love and heartbreak, Saiyaara has been compared to Aashiqui 2 by many viewers.

The love story between Krish Kapoor (Ahaan), an aspiring musician, and Vaani Batra (Aneet), a bashful journalist, is the central theme of Saiyaara. On July 18, the movie was released in theaters and has been doing well at the box office ever since. In just four days after its release in India, it has already surpassed the ₹100 crore barrier.
