Recently, pop star Kevin Jonas shared a heartbreaking moment in his life, telling how he lost practically all of his money after the Jonas Brothers split in 2013. Kevin joined brothers Nick and Joe Jonas on Lewis Howes' The School of Greatness podcast to talk honestly about financial challenges, personal development, and the difficulties their band overcame to make a comeback.

Kevin Jonas discusses making bad financial choices.

The 37-year-old musician and businessman confessed in the show that in his early twenties, he made bad financial choices, particularly a failed business endeavor, which left him on the verge of destitution.

I've witnessed the start of the path to financial success, from not knowing what money actually was and comprehending it, to not having it, to nearly losing everything. The majority of it, such as the remaining 10 percent, stated Kevin.

"I was building and doing other things while I was investing in a lot of real estate. The relationship, however, was not a good fit, if you catch my drift. With the group reuniting, we were fortunate to have a second opportunity and bite at the apple, which was beneficial to humanity as a whole. In a way, it was fortunate, Kevin remarked.

The celebrity of the Jonas Brothers

With number one albums, a Disney Channel fanbase, and leading roles in Camp Rock, the Jonas Brothers soared to fame in the middle of the 2000s. However, they split up in 2013 due to artistic disagreements and tense interactions. In an earlier interview, Nick had said that the family took them a few years to reunite. In 2019, the brothers reunited after six years apart. With the 'Jonas20: Living the Dream' tour, which begins in their home state of New Jersey in August, the Jonas Brothers will commemorate their 20th anniversary.
