At the Mumbai trailer launch of Metro In Dino, Bollywood star Aditya Roy Kapur drew smiles and laughs from the audience. He was asked about a trending modern term: situationship. Surrounded by a strong cast including Sara Ali Khan, Ali Fazal, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Konkona Sen Sharma, Pankaj Tripathi, Neena Gupta, and Anupam Kher, Aditya found himself in the spotlight for a surprisingly simple reason.

When asked if he had ever been in a situationship, he looked confused. He answered honestly, asking, “What is a situationship? What exactly is that?” He explained, “It’s not a relationship, so is it just a situationship?” His innocent response made the crowd laugh and murmur. Fans love his honest, unfiltered charm and maybe explain why he's still single.

The event wasn’t just about funny moments. It was also the launch of Metro In Dino, a follow-up to Anurag Basu’s popular film, Life In A… Metro from 2007. The new film shows love and connection through four stories set in a modern city. People are already excited because the cast is strong, and Basu’s storytelling is known to be good.

The film is directed and written by Anurag Basu. It’s produced by T-Series Films and his own studio. Metro In Dino looks at changing relationships in Indian cities. The cast is still figuring out the new kind of love shown in the film. Set to release on July 4, 2025, it might answer Aditya’s question. Or at least give us four love stories we can relate to, even if they are messy.
