Recently, an online video shows the actor Rana Daggubati expressing his rage at photographers for invading his privacy. In an interview with India right now Rana spoke about the incident today, saying he didn't invite the paparazzi and condemning the Bollywood culture.

"I didn't call them," Rana said, voicing his displeasure with the paparazzi culture. I disagree. I have been outspoken about how I don't want them in my personal area. They come outside my house, which I have politely informed them not to. They continue to show up, even in airports. I think it's really irritating.
Speaking more about the airport video, he said, "I think that in the process of [avoiding them], I dropped my phone because there were so many [people], and they were filming that too," adding that "privacy is respected" in the Telugu film business, which does not have such a culture. Therefore, I believe that you should produce content with someone who is paying you and asking you to do so. Make it with those who want you there. People who are glad to have you about should be shot.
The video at issue went viral because Rana tripped over a bystander, dropped his phone, and was surrounded by photographers as he left the Mumbai airport. Next, he was seen giving the paparazzi a stern lecture. Some admirers backed him for defending his right to privacy, but others were taken aback by his response.

Next, Rana will appear in the second season of his show, Rana Naidu. The show is directed by Karan Anshuman, Suparn Verma, and Abhay Chopra, and it features Surveen Chawla, Venkatesh Daggubati, Kriti Kharbanda, Abhishek Banerjee, and Sushant Singh in pivotal roles. On June 13, it will make its Netflix debut.
