Actor Fahadh Faasil, who was recently seen in Malayalam hit film Aavesham, opened up discussions on social media after he said in a recent interview his take on cinema and the extent of seriousness it should have on the people. Fahadh recently produced and starred in action-comedy film Aavesham, which opened to positive reviews and box office success. The film is directed by Jithu Madhavan.

In a recent interview with Galatta Plus, Fahadh opened up about his recent work, Aavesham, his style of working, and his philosophy on cinema. He said, “I don’t want people to talk about actors and performances at the dining table. Let them discuss in theatres or on the on the way back home during the drive.” The actor-producer also went on to say, “Cinema is not beyond that and it has a limit. And let’s just put it there. There is more you can do with life than watch cinema.”

Fahadh Faasil’s upcoming work

Fahadh was last seen playing Ranga in Aavesham. His role as a hot-headed yet lonely gangster won him much appreciation among critics and the audience. He will also be seen as the antagonist in the upcoming Telugu film Pushpa: The Rule, opposite actor Allu Arjun. The film is scheduled to release in August and will mark Fahadh’s debut in the Telugu film industry.

Next, Fahadh will also be seen alongside Rajinikanth in Vettaiyan, in Tamil. Besides, he is also teaming up with Vadivelu once again after Maamannan for Maareesan. The actor also has Oxygen and Don’t Trouble The Trouble, backed by RRR producers.
