Aamir disclosed that he was invited to a celebration in Dubai rather than being threatened by the underworld. He admitted that he turned down the invitation and did not go. He remembered how a few underworld figures came to see him on set and encouraged him to attend the party, which he declined.

You may come any day you like, even if you beat me or hit me in the head, and you can take me anywhere with your hands and feet tied. You may come whenever you like—give me a beating, smack me in the head, tie me up, and take me wherever you like. Even if you use force to bring me, I won't go willingly.

He said that after this, the populace never got in touch with him. When asked if he was scared, Aamir replied, "Haan darr laga, mere do chhote bacche the, Ammi-Abba jaan bahut pareshan ho gaye the ki yeh bahut khatarnak log hain, aap kya kar rahe hain?" But I only told them that I wanted to live my life the way it is, and that I wasn't going there. (Yes, I was afraid. I was a parent of two little ones. When my parents saw how risky these individuals were, they were really concerned and questioned why I was engaging with them.
