Nearly ten years ago, Imran Khan chose to retire from the film business, and Aamir Khan has shared new details about this choice. Imran's struggle to adhere to popular Bollywood norms and his desire to pursue acting independently were recently discussed by the superstar.

Imran took a break from the industry after appearing in 2015's Katti Batti, having made his acting debut in 2008's Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na. Imran opted to quit because there was a mismatch between the duties given to him, according to Aamir, who asserts that there was no lack of opportunities.

Aamir told the Indian Express that Imran has a natural aptitude for creativity. Imran has a hard time fitting into the mainstream structure of the sector, and the celebrity admitted that he doesn't feel at ease in this setting. Ya Jaane Na and Delhi Belly (2011) are two movies where I might do well, according to Aamir, since I feel right at home there. The 60-year-old, though, said that his nephew cannot fit into a typical Hindi film.

In spite of his dislike for the role, Imran was cast in regular lead parts since the industry perceived him to be a beautiful actor, according to Aamir. He wants to embody reality and is uncomfortable with herogiri. Because of his attractiveness, Imran was getting offered parts in mainstream movies. Some of his credits include films like Kidnap, Luck, I Hate Luv Storys, Break Ke Baad, Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu, Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola, Once Upon ay Time in Mumbai Dobaara!, and Gori Tere Pyaar Mein.

Despite his relative obscurity in recent years, rumors of a potential acting return for Imran have persisted. Tyrewala was in discussions to be a part of a JioHotstar spy series that Abbas Tyrewala was creating. However, in the end, the program was terminated.

Currently making a comeback

Imran is supposedly still weighing a comeback and reading screenplays in an effort to choose the ideal one, according to what we hear. According to sources, the actor has started filming an OTT film alongside Bhumi Pednekar.
