Following his split from Kiran Rao, his second wife, Aamir Khan fell in love once more. On his 60th birthday earlier this year, he unveiled his new girlfriend Gauri Spratt to the press. Aamir spoke candidly about his plans to marry Gauri in an interview for SCREEN with Subhash K Jha.

"Well, Gauri and I are really serious about each other and we are in a very committed space," Aamir stated when asked about his relationship status and if he's ready to get married to Gauri. Furthermore, as you know, we are partners. We are united. In my heart, I'm already married to her, so marriage is a matter of whether or not we formalize it, which I'll decide as we go along.

In March, Aamir informed the media that he and Gauri had met 25 years prior but had since parted ways. The couple began dating 18 months ago, the performer revealed. Gauri, the mother of a six-year-old, is currently employed by Aamir in his studio.

From his marriage to Reena Dutta in 1986, Amir has two children: Junaid Khan and Ira Khan. In 2002, they split up. In 2005, the actor and his second wife, director Kiran Rao, were married; they divorced in 2021. They still co-parent their boy, Azad.

The movie Sitaare Zameen Par is where Aamir was last seen. He portrayed a basketball coach who coaches a team of children with unique talents. The movie, which was directed by R.S. Prasanna and stars Genelia D'Souza in the lead role, became a huge financial hit, bringing in ₹233.10 crore in revenue at the box office worldwide.

In Lokesh Kanagaraj's Coolie, Aamir will next be seen in a cameo role. Rajinikanth, Nagarjuna, Upendra, Soubin Shahir, Sathyaraj, Shruti Haasan, Reba Monica John, Junior MGR, Monisha Blessy, and Kaali Venkat are among the film's key cast members. The movie is set to premiere in theaters on August 14.
