With songs like Katchi Sera and Aasa Kooda, which became viral successes, Sai Abhyankar, a musician and singer, rose to prominence last year. The 20-year-old has eight film projects in the works, even before his feature picture debut, and it seems that producers are trying to capitalize on his celebrity.

The future endeavors of Sai Abhyankar

With Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam initiatives, Sai appears to have a full schedule for the next several months. He has Unni Sivalingam's Malayalam-Tamil film, starring Shane Nigam, scheduled for release in 2025. Keerthiswaran's Tamil film Dude, in which Pradeep Ranganathan and Mamitha Baiju play the main characters, is also in his portfolio.

But the composer now appears to be in the major leagues, having been contracted for the music of RJ Balaji’s Suriya and Trisha Krishnan-starrer Karuppu, which was revealed on Thursday, Atlee’s Allu Arjun-starrer, and Tamizh’s Karthi-starrer Marshal, as well as Ramkumar Balakrishnan’s untitled film with Simbu and Bakkiyaraj Kannan’s LCU film Benz with Raghava Lawrence. He will also write music for Vinayak Chandrasekaran's next movie starring Siva Karthikeyan, according to sources. The release of all of these films is planned for this year and the following year.

Regarding Sai Abhyankar

With Valam Varavendum, Sai made his debut as a composer in 2023, penning the lyrics himself. Following this, in 2024, he released songs like Katchi Sera and Aasa Kooda under a contract with Think Music India, and this year, he published Sithira Puthiri and Vizhi Veekura.

Sai has a musical history that he must live up to, which is not widely known. He was born in 2004 and is the son of well-known playback singers Tippu and Harini. Tippu is the guy who wrote hit tunes like "Oh Mama Mama" from "Minnale," "Elae Machi (Reprise)" from "Anbe Sivam," "Girlfriend" from "Boys," and more. He also performed Sooriya Paarvaigaley from Vaathi more recently.

From Indian, Vaarayo Thozhi from Jeans, and Sutthi Sutthi from Padayappa, Harini is the voice behind Telephone Manipol. In Ponniyin Selvan II, she recently performed Aazhi Mazhai Kanna and Veera Raja Veera.
