On July 23, at the eighth iteration of Hyundai India Couture Week 2025, Tamannaah Bhatia strolled the runway in designer Rahul Mishra's Couture Fall 2025 collection, Becoming Love. In addition to discussing the notion of seven stages of love in a fashion context, the collection also draws from Sufism. Two of the costumes from the Becoming Love line, one a modern bodycon dress and the other a lehenga, were worn by the performer as he walked the runway twice. Let's examine how these two gowns portray nature in more detail.
Look 1
With floral and nature-inspired attire from head to toe, Tamanna transformed into a fairy princess for the runway. The form-fitting gown featured a mermaid shape with vibrant flowers, leaves, and petals in dreamy pastel colors. With dewy, rosy makeup and wet-styled hair, her appearance was almost otherworldly, like a fairy tale nymph brought to life, and the addition of a single shoulder strap gave it an asymmetrical touch. The flowering flowers on the iridescent material clearly illustrate the notion of love.
Look 2
The same fantasy-inspired atmosphere was mirrored by the second outfit, a lehenga. The exquisitely embroidered lehenga went one step further than the floral theme, incorporating an entire amazing scenery, with the lake, lotuses, birds, and fields serving as the lehenga skirt's canvas. Nature-inspired designs could also be seen on the pure white dupatta. She wore it with a jhumka, a classic desi accessory that added pure grace to the floral lehenga, giving it a cohesive appearance and projecting a classic appeal.
The mermaid silhouette of the dress fit her body well, but the lehenga had a regal, voluminous flare. This was a stunning and heartfelt juxtaposition of modern and classic aesthetics, both of which have a fantastical, surreal, and natural atmosphere.
Actually, both dresses examine nature in their own unique manner. Flowers that seem three-dimensional in a blooming garden-inspired pattern give the bodycon dress a natural vibe, while the sculpted form and unusual, asymmetrical shoulder strap give it a hint of ferocity, resembling a romantic and more modest version of a femme fatale style.
In contrast, the picturesque flora and fauna of the lehenga, taken as a whole, perfectly represent the sublime innocence of nature. This attire resembles a walking painting without a doubt.
