In Mumbai on Thursday night, superstar Shah Rukh Khan made a seldom seen at the wedding reception of his longtime personal trainer, Prashant Sawant. He also abandoned his typical umbrella shield against cameras and displayed his salt-and-pepper beard instead.

Photographers erupted in cheers as Shah Rukh Khan arrived in Mumbai with his manager Pooja Dadlani Thursday at the location of the wedding reception, igniting a flurry of activity.

This time, Shah Rukh grabbed attention by abandoning his umbrella shield as he exited his car. He was seen coming in his opulent car with security personnel.

Photographers were glad that Shah Rukh was not behind an umbrella, which has become usual at his outings recently, even if he hurried into the venue and didn't stop to pose for pictures.

Shah Rukh chose a casual appearance for the trip, teaming blue jeans with a smart black T-shirt and finishing it off with a fashionable black beanie hat. He had a salt-and-pepper beard. With the black beanie, Shah Rukh appeared to be concealing his hairstyle for his upcoming movie, King.

Other stars who attended the wedding reception included names such as Abhishek Bachchan, Varun Dhawan, Mrunal Thakur and Sunny Singh.

At the moment, Shah Rukh is busy working on his next film, King, in which he will seen alongside his daughter Suhana. King was supposed to be directed by Sujoy Ghosh earlier. However, Siddharth Anand later took over as the director. So far, Jackie Shroff, Anil Kapoor, Arshad Warsi, Rani Mukerji, Abhishek Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Jaideep Ahlawat, and Abhay Verma are reportedly part of the film. Most recently, Shah Rukh was also seen in a cameo in Ed Sheeran’s new song Sapphire.
