Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have always been the most loved couple in Bollywood, who never hesitated to flaunt Indian heritage, tradition, and culture even outside India. When most of the celebrities are seen gracing global events and red carpets in Western attire, the couple is seen flourishing in Indian attire such as saree, lehenga, anarkali, sherwani, and kurta.  Recently, Kriti Sanon joined the couple to prove her love for Indian tradition.

While gracing the ramp for Manish Malhotra in Varanasi, Kriti Sanon and Ranveer Singh are seen donning red Banarasi lehenga and beautifully embroidered golden dhoti-sherwani. The show was organised by fashion designer Manish Malhotra to promote Banarasi handcrafts. Kriti and Ranveer look so ethereal that it reminds us of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's costume choices in his films.

The theme Banarasi Saree - A Tapestry of Indian Culture and Craftsmen was assembled by Indian Minority Foundation (IMF) at Namo Ghat, Kashi. The fashion show exhibited some beautiful handcrafted royal Banarasi silk sarees, lehengas, sherwanis and kurtas. Several diplomats and ambassadors attended the extravagant fashion show, including Rajya Sabha member Satnam Singh Sandhu.

Apart from promoting his Banarasi collection, Manish Malhotra also announced that he will be launching stores of Banarsi cloths across the nation. Seems like Malhotra got highly inspired by Sabyasachi and his Indian heritage collection.

Kriti Sanon’s films

Meanwhile, on the work front, Kriti Sanon is currently basking in the success of her recently released rom-com Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya and heist comedy drama Crew. Both have been well received by the audiences and have earned good collections as well.

Ranveer Singh’s upcoming projects

Ranveer Singh is gearing up for back-to-back 3 big projects such as Rohit Shetty's Singham Again, Don 3 and Shaktiman. According to a few reports, he also has another project in his hand, whose name is not announced yet, but he will probably begin shooting this April.
