Ajith Kumar’s portrayal of evil twin and die-hard romantic won the hearts of many and became a commercial success.

Kadhal Mannan

Kadhal Mannan is a 1998 romantic drama, starring actor Ajith, Manu, Vivek, MS Viswanathan and others. Directed by Saran, Kadhal Mannan is about two lovers who very much want to be with each other. But the obstacle comes in the form of the girl's father who is much against love after his elder daughter eloped. Kadhal Mannan had a successful run in theatres during the time of its release.

Aasai

Kadhal Kottai is directed by Agathiyan and is a romance drama starring Ajith, Devyani, Heera Rajagopal and others. After a woman loses her bag at railway station, it is sent to her home along with a letter from the man who found it. Gradually they begin writing to each other and in the process fall in love without having seen each other.

Mugavari

Mugavari is 2000 romantic drama which stars Ajith Kumar, Jyothika, Raghuvaran, Vivek and others. It revolves around an aspiring music composer who is struggling to find a chance. In the process, he falls in love with a woman, but when it comes to his career, he is ready to take a backseat in his romance. The film is directed by V Z Durai.
