Milind was lauded by some Instagram users in the comments area of Harper's Bazaar India's July 15 article for furthering the discussion about non-binary fashion. According to others, his attire choices demonstrate that gendered apparel and boundaries have no place in fashion or self-expression. Additionally, a few others praised Milind for giving men more freedom in their fashion choices.

One of the images from the session, showing Milind wearing a crop top, prompted someone to comment, "Hottest man alive." "What a perfect shot and personality... looks like an AI (artificial intelligence-created) image at first glance," another Instagram user wrote. "You are a super motivator," someone else added. "Every time I see you, I just get motivated."

However, some Instagram users thought Milind's cropped shirt appearance was inappropriate. "T-shirt is too small; anything in the name of style," one remark said. "A crop top? Really!" another wondered about the actor and model's attire. Another person responded, "No, Milind, no."
