In a small ceremony held in Hyderabad on Friday, Akhil Akkineni wed Zainab Ravdjee. Following the wedding, the Akkineni family hosted a star-studded reception that included some of the most famous figures in the South Indian film business. In addition to his wife, Namrata Shirodkar, and daughter, Sitara Ghattamaneni, actor Mahesh Babu also honored the event with his presence. Mahesh Babu's unusual choice of attire, though, caught everyone's attention.

Mahesh Babu opts for casual attire

Namrata was stunning in her traditional dark green velvet dress at Akhil and Zainab's wedding reception, while their daughter Sitatra was radiant in a baby pink embroidered lehenga. For his attire, Mahesh Babu opted for brown trousers, black dressy shoes, and a casual olive green tee with full sleeves.

As soon as his attire became popular, followers began to post comments. "Ipudu ee tshirt cost entho mari (wonder how much this t-shirt costs)," one supporter wrote. Before their engagement last year, it was said that Akhil and Zainab were seeing each other. The pair exchanged vows in a traditional Telugu ceremony that was attended by celebrities such as Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan, and Prashanth Neel. The bride wore an ivory saree, while the groom was seen in a white dhoti-kurta in a number of images and videos from the wedding that appeared online.
