RoadGrid, an EV solutions provider with operations throughout several Indian cities, has signed a service and infrastructure agreement with VinFast Auto India, the local arm of the Vietnamese electric car manufacturer VinFast. The automaker had also revealed its collaboration with myTVS earlier in the month for after-sales support and charging infrastructure.

In conjunction with RoadGrid and other third-party operators, VinFast intends to build 120 extended service workshops across India as part of its collaboration with RoadGrid. Although the formal introduction date is not yet known, these workshops are expected to offer support services as soon as the business begins delivering its automobiles.

RoadGrid focuses on fleet service management and EV charging infrastructure, and it operates a network of over 200 service stations. It intends to provide real-time charging and diagnostics tools along with ocular effective workshop assistance through its collaboration with VinFast.

Integration of Service and Charging

The collaborative project will aim to integrate digital service features, such as live diagnostics and integrated service scheduling, with charging infrastructure. As the EV market grows in India, the objective is to offer charging infrastructure and technical assistance in significant metropolitan areas and along important intercity routes.

The cooperation is a component of VinFast's preparations to make sure the necessary service and charging infrastructure is in place before it starts selling in India, according to business officials. In the run-up to its debut, VinFast is also anticipated to disclose more partners and infrastructure initiatives.
