Ultraviolette F77 Receives Ballistic+ Mode in Latest Software Upgrade
4 months ago | 5 Views
Ultraviolette has unveiled a significant software update for its F77 electricmotorbike range, which includes the new Gen3 Powertrain Firmware. Along with this update, a new performance mode called Ballistic+ has also been introduced. The upgrade is the result of a thorough examination of rider data from more than 8 million kilometers of actual use.
The F77's throttle reaction and overall performance are intended to be enhanced by the Gen3 firmware. It makes use of information gathered by the company's exclusive Violette A.I. system, which monitors more than 3,000 variables during a ride, such as rider behavior, terrain inputs, and acceleration patterns. The firm claims that these lessons have been applied to improve the motorcycle's handling and power delivery.
The Mach 3's throttle is more aggressive, and the F77's motor controller arrangement is UV fine-tuned.
The inclusion of Ballistic+, a new riding mode that is available on all F77 variants, is one of the major modifications. This mode is designed to deliver a quicker and more instantaneous power surge, which is especially noticeable during the start of acceleration. The update's goal is to provide a more interesting riding experience, even though the precise performance numbers are unknown. The update will be available to all current F77 users at no cost, Ultraviolette has made clear. With this guarantee, the performance improvements and feature additions made in the most recent version of the software will also benefit older models. Prior iterations of the F77 are completely compatible with the Gen3 firmware and Ballistic+ mode. The update expands upon earlier versions of the F77, such as the MACH 2 version that was launched in 2024. That model included safety and convenience features like traction control, regenerative braking with ten levels of adjustability, hill-hold assist, and the integration of Violette A.I. for adaptive system behavior. Software-led improvements like this one are likely to grow more prevalent as manufacturers gather more user data and improve their systems, since electric motorcycles are still an emerging category in India. Because they come with connected technology, OTA upgrades like this one are especially simple for electric vehicles. The F77 update is a prime illustration of how connected technologies and real-world data are starting to impact product longevity and performance tuning in the EV market.
