Ultraviolette Achieves Milestone: 60,000+ Tesseract and 7,000 Shockwave Bookings

Ultraviolette Automotive has attracted a lot of attention from customers almost a year before they start shipping their electric two-wheelers to the mass market next year. The manufacturer has disclosed that the Tesseract, its first electric scooter, has received more than 60,000 reservations, while the Shockwave electric off-roader has received 7,000 reservations to date. Both models are scheduled for delivery in the first quarter of 2026.
The Ultraviolette Tesseract: All You Need to Know
The Ultraviolette Tesseract, a sporty version of a scooter, will be packed with features, some of which will be the first in its class. The model was introduced by the business at an introductory price of ₹1.20 lakh for the first 50,000 purchasers. The introductory price had to be increased due to overwhelming demand, which is noteworthy. Currently, the price range begins at ₹1.45 lakh. All costs are ex-showroom. Up until March of this year, Ultraviolette received 50,000 reservations, and in the previous three months, it has obtained the remaining 10,000.
The Ultraviolette Tesseract will have a 3.5 kWh battery pack in its base model, but the higher versions will have 5 kWh and 6 kWh options, even if the full specifications have not yet been made public. With wireless charging, radar system at the front and rear, rearview mirrors with blindspot detection, front and rear radar, a dashboard camera, and other features, the feature package is equally elaborate. With traction control, dual-channel ABS, four-level regeneration, and hill hold, the model claims a maximum speed of 125 kmph.

Ultraviolette Shockwave: What You Need To Know
The Shockwave is an electric enduro machine that was launched at an inteoductor price of ₹1.50 lakh for the first 1,000 customers. Prices now start at ₹1.75 lakh (ex-showroom). The Shockwave packs an electric motor churning out 14.5 bhp, while power will come from a 4 kWh battery pack with a claimed range of 165 km (IFC) on a single charge. UV says the electric enduro can sprint from 0-60 kmph in 2.9 seconds and has a top speed of 120 kmph.
On the feature front, the bike will come with all-LED lighting, a steel frame, telescopic front forks and a monoshock at the rear, all while riding on 21-inch front and 17-inch rear spoked wheels. The Shockwave will also pack switchable dual-channel ABS, four-level traction control, and six-level regen.
