Tata Motors' passenger car sector reported total wholesale sales of 37, quotes in June 2025, representing a 15% decrease from the 43,624 units it sold wholesale in June 2024. These wholesale figures cover all sales (ICE and electric) made in the home and foreign markets.

Tata Motors' wholesale in the local market decreased from 43,524 units in June 2024 to 37,083 units in June 2025. With respect to June 2024, electric wholesales were notably higher, with the company selling 5,228 EVs in total (including exports), a 12% increase year over year.

Tata Motors recorded total wholesales of 1,24,809 passenger automobiles for the April-June 2025 quarter (Q1 FY26), a 10% decrease from the 1,38,682 units sold in Q1 FY25. Overall, Tata Motors reported 123,839 units in the domestic market, with a 10% year-over-year decrease in wholesale.

The number of EVs sold during the quarter was almost the same as the 16,579 units sold during the same period last year, at 16,231. Although quarterly EV volumes fell by a small 2%, company executives saw a more positive sales trend at the conclusion of the quarter.


Highlights of the Product and Trends in the Industry

The updated Tiago stood out as a positive note, with a 16% increase in sales in Q1 FY26 compared to the same period last year, demonstrating ongoing demand in the affordable hatchback market. The business stated that recent launches, such the Altroz and Harrier EV, have had a favorable initial market reaction, with the full effect anticipated to be seen in the second half of the fiscal year.

The prices for the Tata Harrier EV were only released by the manufacturer recently. The Tata Motors' flagship EV model is available in the price range of ₹21.49 lakh to ₹30.13 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom. The Harrier EV is available in five main models: Adventure, Adventure S, Fearless Plus, Empowered, and Empowered AWD.
