The Tata Harrier EV is set to launch tomorrow, June 3, 2025. This vehicle is anticipated to be the brand's largest and most sophisticated electric SUV. The Harrier EV will be positioned above the existing models in Tata's electric vehicle lineup, representing a move towards more performance-focused and feature-rich electric offerings. Although complete specifications are not yet available, there are design cues and platform details that hint at what buyers can expect to receive.

Although the Harrier EV is derived from the internal combustion engine (ICE) model, it incorporates several design modifications typical of electric vehicles. Notably, the front grille has been sealed to minimize drag, a common feature in other EVs. Additionally, the front and rear bumpers have undergone revisions.

The vehicle is expected to feature aerodynamically efficient alloy wheels, which will enhance both its aesthetic appeal and performance capabilities. The lighting configuration includes connected daytime running lights at the front, while the rear is equipped with new tail lamps. Overall, the design elements align with the visual themes seen in recent Tata electric vehicles.

While Tata Motors has yet to reveal the interior of the forthcoming Harrier EV, it is likely that the cabin layout will resemble that of the standard Harrier. Additionally, we may see new features such as ventilated seats, dual-zone climate control, and a powered tailgate, among others.

The Harrier EV is anticipated to include new convenience technologies, such as a "Summon Mode," which will enable limited movement of the vehicle via the key fob. It is also expected to have an auxiliary display for front passengers, in line with trends observed in other new electric models currently available. Furthermore, the vehicle is likely to offer Qi wireless charging, multiple airbags, a 360-degree camera, and Level 2 advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).
