In India, the 2025 Suzuki GSX-8R has been released with an ex-showroom price of ₹9.25 lakh. The GSX-8R is now OBD-2B compliant thanks to the update. Suzuki is aiming to strike a balance between environmental care and performance with the updated OBD-2B, offering a smooth ride that appeals to both riders and aficionados.

The 776cc parallel-twin engine that powers the GSX-8R employs a 270-degree crankshaft and has four valves per cylinder with a DOHC. This configuration gives you a distinctive exhaust sound that resembles a V-twin, as well as a torquey powerband that will help you maneuver through traffic. Additionally, Suzuki's proprietary Cross Balancer system is said to reduce engine vibrations, increasing comfort, particularly during extended trips.

The 2025 Suzuki GSX-8R: Its Design

The GSX-8R maintains Suzuki's contemporary design aesthetic, which is distinguished by an imposing posture and a mass-forward profile. The motorcycle has a distinctive road presence thanks to its steeply designed windshield and vertically stacked hexagonal LED headlamps at the front, which also improve aerodynamics.

Separate forged aluminum handlebars, which assure increased control and a forward-leaning riding position, further enhance its sportbike credentials. The GSX-8R comes in three paint colors: Metallic Triton Blue, Metallic Matte Sword Silver, and Metallic Matte Black No. 2.

Hardware for the 2025 Suzuki GSX-8R

The 2025 Suzuki GSX-8R has Dunlop RoadSport 2 radial tires on lightweight cast aluminum wheels for a combination of grip and daily usability.

The front suspension is handled by Showa SFF-BP inverted forks from SHOWA, while the rear suspension is handled by a link-type mono-shock, also from SHOWA, that includes a preload adjuster. For braking, the front wheels have dual radial-mounted four-piston callipers with 310 mm discs, which provide excellent and reliable stopping performance.
