In anticipation of the introduction of two high-end electric vehicles in India, JSW MG Motor India is making preparations. The MG Cyberster, an all-electric roadster that claims to be the most powerful car the OEM has ever produced, is another model in the works for the automaker, which is set to release the MG M9 premium electric MPV. The MG Cyberster has begun to arrive at dealerships in preparation for its introduction.

The MG Cyberster will be available via the brand's Select premium retail network, as the automaker has previously stated. The MG Cyberster will also be offered for sale at the Select dealerships, along with the MG M9. The Bharat Mobility Expo 2025 featured both of these electric vehicles.

The MG Cyberster electric roadster was introduced to the world in 2023. It represented the British car company's debut in the high-performance electric car market. It will serve as the brand's new halo product in the Indian passenger vehicle market after its debut.

2025 MG Cyberster India launch soon? — Started reaching dealerships

The MG Cyberster has a unique convertible body design. One of the main features of the Cyberster is its scissor doors on either side, which are supported by a specialized electric vehicle platform. The inside has a motif that is modeled after an airplane cockpit. It includes a triple-screen arrangement on the dashboard, yoke-style steering, and a variety of cutting-edge technology-enabled capabilities.

In the Indian market, it is anticipated to be available in single-motor RWD and dual-motor AWD configurations. The electric roadster can generate a maximum torque of 725 Nm and a peak power of 536 bhp. On a single charge, it claims to provide a range of over 500 kilometers.

The official launch date for the Cyberster has not yet been announced by MG. The cost information hasn't been released yet either. However, some dealerships have begun taking reservations. The EV is likely to be sold in India via the Completely Built Unit (CBU) model, which would raise the price of the electric convertible to about ₹50 lakh (ex-showroom).
