The test findings for the fourth-generation Maruti Suzuki Dzire were recently released by the Bharat National Crash Assessment Program. The Bharat NCAP crash test awarded the sedan the highest safety rating, making it the first Maruti Suzuki sedan to receive a five-star rating.

The introduction of the new Dzire by Maruti Suzuki in India on November 11th was a noteworthy milestone in the automotive calendar for 2024. The latest sub-compact sedan comes with a new engine that is shared with the recently introduced Maruti Suzuki Swift, which was released earlier this year, as well as several design and feature improvements. Additionally, the redesigned Dzire has a five-star safety rating from Global NCAP.

The sedan received high marks for adult occupant protection, earning 29.46 out of 32 potential points, and for child occupant protection, earning 41.57 out of 49 possible points. The Dzire also received a vehicle assessment score of 6.00 out of 13.00 for its safety assist features. The vehicle is able to achieve this rating thanks to its safety features.
