In May 2025, Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) reported a 22% increase in sales over the previous year. The business sold 30,864 units throughout the month, with 1,584 units being exported and 29,280 units being sold domestically. TKM had sold 25,273 units by May 2024. In the first two months of FY 2025–26, the company also experienced a 27% increase in sales, with 58,188 units sold as opposed to 45,767 in FY 2024–25.

The firm reiterated that its portfolio's MPV and SUV models remain its main growth engine. In April–May of FY 2025–26, combined sales of SUVs and MPVs surged by 34% over the same period last year. The Toyota Fortuner and Legender have also sold more than three lakh units since their introduction in 2009.

With the start of the monsoon and predictions pointing to a normal to above-normal season, the business remains optimistic about a turnaround in market mood in the coming months, especially throughout rural and semi-urban areas, according to Varinder Wadhwa, Vice President, Sales-Service-Used Car Business.

Only the Innova Hycross Exclusive Edition

The Toyota Innova Hycross Exclusive Edition, which was available for ₹32.58 lakh ex-showroom, was also introduced by the automobile manufacturer in May 2025. Based on the ZX(O) variation, it will be available for a short period with a two-tone design in two colors: Super White and Pearl White.

There are additional cosmetic adjustments in addition to the two-tone color schemes. The unique edition has blacked-out features. As a result, the hood emblem, alloy wheels, rear garnish, front grille, and roof are now all black. It features a grill garnish and a front skid plate. Wheel arch molding and an ornamental element for an external rearview mirror are seen on the sides. The special edition includes a tailgate garnish and a skid plate at the back. Additionally, Toyota has included an exclusive rear badge.

The interior has also undergone modifications. The two-tone theme is carried out throughout the interior, including the seat fabric, door fabric, dashboard, and center console cover. A legroom light, wireless charger, and air purifier have been installed by Toyota.
