Royal Enfield Records Robust 22% Sales Increase in June, Boosted by Popular Models and Export Growth

In a regulatory statement, Eicher Motors Limited, the parent company of Royal Enfield, stated that the two-wheeler brand recorded a 22% year-on-year (YoY) sales growth in June of this year, with a total of 89,540 units sold, up from the 73,141 units sold in the same month the previous year. The sum of domestic and foreign sales is included in this figure.
In addition to selling some of the most well-liked retro-themed motorcycles in India, Royal Enfield claims to have sold 265,528 units in the first quarter of this fiscal year, which is a 17% increase over the 226,907 units sold during the same period last year.
The indigenous motorbike manufacturer that sells well-liked models in the 350 cc market, like the Classic 350, Bullet 350, Hunter 350, and Meteor 350, has seen a 25% increase in sales from the 61,465 units it sold during the same month last year, with 76,680 units sold last month. Between April and June of this year, the firm sold 227,454 motorcycles in this sector, representing a 17% year-over-year increase for the brand. At the same time last year, Royal Enfield sold 194,183 units in this market.

The Royal Enfield sells well-known models in the category with an engine displacement greater than 350 cc, such as the Classic 650, Scram 440, Bear 650, Guerrilla 450, Shotgun 650, Himalayan, Super Meteor 650, Interceptor 650, and Continental GT 650. The motorcycle maker claims that in June of this year, it sold 12,860 units, representing a 10% YoY increase. The business sold 11,676 units in the same month a year prior, in contrast. Between April and June 2025, the motorcycle company sold 38,074 units in this market. The business sold 32,724 units during the same period last year, which represents a 16% increase.
In June of this year, Royal Enfield's exports also increased dramatically. The corporation asserts that it shipped 12,583 units last month, which is a 79% increase from the 7,024 units it sold in the worldwide market in June 2024. The auto manufacturer delivered 36,749 motorcycles to international markets in the first quarter of this fiscal year, which is a 65% increase over the 22,221 vehicles shipped in the same quarter of the previous year.
